My One Year at WA and Feeling a Bit Confused!

This month marks my 1 year at WA. I am very proud of all I have learned here in that time and I am still determined to make this work. I also have had the pleasure of meeting many kind helpful people. I want to thank everyone of you for all the help and support that I have received.

Unfortunately, over the past week, I have been reading some posts that are out of the ordinary for this community. This has confused me as to what is appropriate and what is not. Many members here write posts about personal experience as a way to help others. Many also write posts to help us get motivated. Some posts are just plain silly and make us laugh. None of those have anything to do with building a website, or do they? I understand that rules must be followed but if a post is helpful to just one person isn't that enough? This community has become more than just a business community, is this wrong? If it is then it is up to Kyle to do something about it not the members here. We are not robots, we all have feelings and emotions we feed off each other to help get over though times, for inspiration and support.

I also understand that some people do take advantage of posting many blogs just to get ranked. In reality, ranking does absolutely nothing for us so who cares if someone wants to waste their time posting? That's why we have a delete button. But think about it, maybe they are posting all those blogs to improve their writing skills. Maybe they are insecure or shy and by getting likes and replies helps to build their confidence. We will never understand why people do the things they do and who are we to judge? As long as a post contains no hatred towards others, vulgar language or obscenity than I personally do not have a problem with it.
Let's just get back to being the community that has made Wealthy Affiliate the #1 place to be. I am looking forward to another wonderful year of learning, meeting new people and helping others in any way I can.
