Two blogs on one website?

Given comments from the security guy I talk to at night, I'm wondering about adding an older blogger blog of mine to my catladymori website. That would make two blogs on the one site, one about feral cats I've worked/lived with and one about healing sound frequencies I use for them and me. Thinking to do this with subdomains.
I'm thinking that might get more traffic -- not so many people know about frequencies but there are lots of cat lovers. Would it affect ranking? Would Google be looking for post frequency on one or both blogs? Is it difficult to import Blogger into Wordpress?
I'm all ears for suggestions.....

I would only think having a subdomain would help with rankings as it would show that there are more pages and posts associated with your main website. I believe they would look at the main domain and then look at both together. Having more content is always a good idea.
