Be Your Own Dream

As a child we are what our parents, teachers and friends teach us. We are unable to survive without other people teaching us what to do. For example:

- We hear and see other people talking - we try saying the same things as they do

- We see where people get their food - we get the food from the same place

- We see how people make money - we try and make money the same way

Without these teachings, we would not have survived in today`s world.

But when we are adults it is easier to live on our own and do what we think is right. We don't need other people to survive anymore. We have got all the survival training and can go our own way.

But a lot of people still try and become what their parents/family want them to become. Or they are afraid to go a different way as their parents did because it is not familiar and they don't know the outcome.

I lived with a very controlling family and it was very difficult to get away from them and do what I wanted to do. But one day I cut off all contact to my family and went my way for a change to find out what life is all about.

You know what happened?

The first couple of weeks were so difficult and I didn't know what to do. I was standing on my own two feet for the first time in my life. There were so many rude and horrible people trying to get in the way. I had to fight my way through. But I didn't give up!I wanted to do what I always wanted and discovered everything I never saw before. I didn't let heartless people get in my way. I didn't give them what they wanted.

I became a very strong person and am so glad I didn't stay with my controlling family. It was a relief to get away from all the people that were trying to make something out of me I didn't want.

Now I am not telling you to give up on your family and walk away from them! In the situation I was I had to because my family was hurting me.

But I want you to talk to the people that are trying to control your life and tell them what you want. Communication is the only key to getting what you want!If you can't communicate with people, then you will have to go away and just do what you want and learn from your mistakes.

The people that truly love you will come running after you and will support you with every step you make in life. They will be the people that are by your side when you need them the most.

Stop being the dream of other people. Be your own dream!

It is your time to take the courage to change and do what you want. Life is too short and it is time to show the world what you are all about. Who cares what other people think? Go your way, get away from the hurting kind and meet the people that really do care and love you for who you are. Meet the people that really care and help each other out.

Wealthy Affiliate is a perfect example. We are a caring community and help each other out. In life, you are never alone. The world is made for everybody to find loving and caring people. You just have to make the first step and find those people. They won't make their way to you. You will have to make your way to them!
