Week 22 Update - Lots of Wins!

What an exciting week! So much has been happening I feel like it's been much longer.

I feel like a few things have fallen into place, or gotten easier. Or something like that.

My Goals this week were:

• Keep up with my editorial calendar and promote like crazy!!!
• Pitch and write a guest post.
• Comment on 5 more blogs.

What I did instead:

I kept up my editorial calendar (which was pretty grueling!) and have been promoting like mad.

I didn't pitch any guest posts, let alone write one.

I commented on some blogs, a lot weren't niche related so they don't really count.

I collated a RIDICULOUSLY ENORMOUS list of Facebook Groups that are blogging related and allow promotion. Then I went and joined most of them. I intend to pretty up the list and offer it as a content upgrade freebie at some point.

Wins

- I got given some editing work by one of the (well-connected) bloggers I've been commenting on, this is potentially ongoing. :) And I LOVED IT. I think I'm an editor at heart.

- I was approached to co-host a webinar on SEO in a few months time. :)

- My Upwork client hasn't messaged me with new work for ages :) (might seem weird to count this as a win, but the pay was terrible, my time is precious and unless I'm also getting some benefit to doing the job (like niche related exposure) I'd rather pass)

- some of my pins/posts were shared by a couple of bigger bloggers I admire and respect :)

- traffic has taken a definite uptick, which is great as I've committed to sharing my stats in a blog report next month and I don't want to be embarrassed.

- I finished an epic round up post of 43+ places to find feminine stock photos (free). It took forever and was incredibly frustrating at times. I have major respect for Anh and his epic round up post of 65+ stock photos sites!

- People are subscribing to my email list!

Goals for next week:

• Keep ticking on with my editorial calendar - its still grueling, but I need it to be to get a good solid base of quality posts.
• Outline a lead magnet e-course.
• Pitch a guest post.
• Get cheeky and reply to auto responder emails of the people I want to build relationships with.
