Week 21 Update

What a great week! Because of all the tech issues I was having and I was working on an extremely labor intensive post, I hadn't made a post to my site for weeks. It was starting to get me down. But, I finally made a post. Phew!

Some thoughts from this week:

Blogging is not affiliate marketing, but is affiliate marketing blogging?

Content upgrades are assets.

Posted - How to Launch Your Blog with a Bang

Promotion efforts

• hit up some Facebook groups to promote it - still plenty more to get to.
• Scheduled it to Pin to my group boards over the next week.
• Scheduled several tweets to go out over the next few days.
• Got IFTTT working so it publishes my new posts directly to my Facebook Page! Woot! (I'm surprised it was so easy)

Comments

Commented on 5 blogs of people in my niche. Pretty excited about this - one of my favourite bloggers came over and commented on one of my recent posts! What a confidence booster.

My goal with this is to network within my niche and build relationships with other bloggers.

Goals not met

• Create a landing page for my first ever sales funnel.
• Pitch (and write) a guest post.
• Draft one post for my new site - I'm putting this on hold for the moment while I work on This Mama Learns.

Goals for next week

• Keep up with my editorial calendar and promote like crazy!!!
• Pitch and write a guest post.
• Comment on 5 more blogs.
