Write When It Hits You - Then Research - Then Post
Okay, the cover image has nothing to do with the topic, but I saw it and thought it was cool.
I am absolutely all for researching your topic of choice before posting it. However, when we write an article there might not be the time or resources for researching. If we wait until resources are available, we may lose interest, mood, and drive - leaving the article unwritten.
My strategy isn't for everyone, but here it is. When the urge to write strikes you WRITE!!! Don't dally unless you're doing something more important. Research can wait for a minute, but moods and urges are flighty.
Write what your heart and mind demand, then ... wait. Waiting is the worst part. Make sure you do a little research before you hit Publish. Then hit Publish and see what happens.
It can be easy to determine if someone was lollygagging or if they wrote under the fury of enthusiasm. Enthusiastic writers have enthusiastic readers.
Just don't cheat us; if you're trying to sell something or convert us to a new way of thinking, then research before publishing. Write with your heart. Research and refine with your mind. Publish with hope. :)

That spontaneous burst of writing energy, can be the fountain of our best work.
The research can help to build it out, and give the reader some extra spice.
A good methodology, for writing, there Cathy.
