Byebye To My First Third
I'm not too keen on big announcements, but I felt this had to be formalized. I have three websites, and after much thought - frome the inception, actually - I've decided to abandon my first website. I will first get rid of any no-longer-needed affiliate programs, then get rid of all the affiliate links. What to do with the personally written materials??
Should I cancel the various affiliates that only this site uses and then just delete everything?
Nothing I wrote is phenonemenal. Nothing bookworthy or sentimental.
The site isn't bad or detrimental in a business way; it's personal. Still a subject I am fond of, but I'd rather focus on the other two sites.
The domain name expires midway through next year. I'll just be sitting on it. I'm not wanting to go against any rules here. I'm not trying to sell anything. If somebody wants it, I'll give it away; otherwise, it's going to collect dust.
Sometimes we learn things the hard way. I'm new. Just ready to leave one-third of my business behind and focus more on the other two thirds.
Someone is going to come along and lecture me for breaking some rule I don't know about and then I'll delete this.
The simple point is, I'm not quitting. I'm not trying to get pity or make a buck.
The old site going byebye is fear not fear dot com. I just don't want it anymore, and I'm a realist. Time to focus on what I feel is working better.
Advice? I'm thin-skinned, so spare me any public beratings. Just tell me to remove the blog and I will. Thank you.

I think Gabe is giving some sound advise
For 13 or 14 a year it’d be worth looking back on in a year or two..
Best to you on whatever you decide

I took a look and I personally enjoyed what I read. I've also thought about this a lot; I feel like it's worth paying the $13/yr to keep a website that you might either 1. Come back to in the future 2. Make a conversion off of. You can also leave it there to see how far you've come when you develop your next two websites!
Sincerely,
-Gabe
I agree--I got a referral from one of my sites that hardly had anything done to it, and the annual cost for it is peanuts!

What does not work must be eliminated. I focused only on what you consider useful. I have deleted several sites, they are those especially when I started working on the internet.
It's the best way to say good riddance to stress and a failed attempt. Thank you, Claudio!
