Binder, Books or Boards, how do you map your projects?
I have spent the last couple of days with not much time at my computer and have been using this time to catch up on my planning for 2017.
I am a visual person, I like to use books and white boards, what methods do you use?
I have never been good at working with spreadsheets and things on my computer as I still write down things and then transfer them over which is kind of making double the work really so I stick to notepads and a desk diary. It's not that I don't know how to use excel, I just prefer to make a sheet on excel, print it out and manually fill it in so that I can see it when I want and alter it in any way when I want rather than having to be logged on to my computer. I like to see things on the office wall, if they were on my computer I would only be reminded when I logged on !
To be honest I am not really a fan of folders/binders as I find them too big to carry round with me and a notebook fits in my bag, is not too heavy and I can buy them in different colours them to make them easy to just grab and take out with me.
So now the first quarter of 2017 is roughly planned out. January, February and March planners are printed out, coloured in and on the wall and I can see things taking shape in front of me. I have never been this organised with my homework before!
Have you planned any part of 2017 yet?
How do you plan your workload and posts?
With so many of us here, active, in WA there must be some really straightforward systems and some others which I am guessing could be pretty complicated. If you have a system I would love to hear about it if you would like to share in the comments below thank you :-)

Ive always been a notebook kind of person. Like to scribble my ideas down when i can. But for planning i type spreadsheet out, going to sort my plan out this week.
I'm pretty good with spreadsheets but I'm a "notebook Gal at heart". I just had my Journal printed so I'm ready to start entries on January 1st. And I have a weekly work plan for content here at WA and my website. I'm excited to get started. Thanks for sharing Cath.
This is one thing I love about Excel Cath. Pivot tables that help refine your data! http://www.excel-easy.com/data-analysis/pivot-tables.html
Thanks Mike. Ido love excel and have been known to spend a couple of days making sheets for projects. I even saved a company I used to work for about £60k with a sheet that monitored a lake construction project ( the surveyors were pretty crap and the figures didn't stack for me on his hand scribbled sheet so I made a full excel weekly accumulator. ) I just like to see my stuff in a wall, i make excel sheets and print them out lol
