How to Improve your SEO - A Starters' Guide
Hey guys. First of all, I need to let you all know that as a fellow WA member, I love writing, and am pretty much terrified of site maintenance duties.
However, I came across something by accident when I needed to do an update on my site, and I really wanted to share it with all of you.
When we start with WA, Kyle recommends we use the All-in-One SEO plugin. It's a good plugin. Partially because of the way it provides us with a format where we can choose the title for our blog posts, and create a custom meta description.

I loaded it up and read it, and I used the advice in the article right away. The article I wrote most recently got indexed in about 2 days.There are some of you that have had articles indexed in as little as 10 minutes, I have heard, but I am still pretty happy with this result. Some of my articles have taken several weeks to get indexed, so this is a pretty significant improvement.
5 Basic Steps - That's it! - Yep. I like Simple!
What I like most about the article from Semper is that is goes over the BASICS first. There are 5 easy to implement tidbits of advice that will be the most effective for a new SEO hacker like myself.
Of course there is more to SEO than these 5 simple tidbits, but I really don't want to get overwhelmed. That does me absolutely no good.
I don't know about you guys, but I have looked online a bit for SEO advice, and most of the time these site throw a massive article at you with 25 steps or something to mastering SEO.
An SEO Master overnight? I doubt it.
That's when I completely shut off emotionally and look for another web site, only to find that most of them are pretty similar. They want to establish themselves as authorities on the subject matter, I get that, but it's just too much information.
