Moving Along
I've made it to the end of Course 2 here at Wealthy Affiliate. I'm just as impressed now as I was at the beginning. The training is superb, and I love how it is broken down into courses and lessons. It makes it much easier to learn everything without a total overload of information all at once.
In the beginning, I never thought I would be able to write enough content for a website. I hesitated to even get started. I had no idea what niche to choose, or what my site would be about. However, I was eager to get started, and wanted to get the most out of my free trial.
I started with the Affiliate Bootcamp. The niche part was still throwing me for a loop, so I used WA as a starting point. As I followed the lessons, more and more ideas popped into my head. That's when it came to me.....junkdrawer411.com.....my site. A place to share all the little tid bits of information I've gathered over the years.
Upgrading to premium was a no brainer for me. I did wait until the end of my free trial, but have not regretted the decision once. Even though I struggled with ideas for pages and creating content, I pushed through. It takes time but I really believe if I can do this, anyone can.
Due to lack of time, I did almost quit....temporarily. I work full time. It's winter here now and I heat solely with wood, so that takes time (more time than I expected). Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day. I kept thinking why pay for something I didn't have time to do. I was going to back out for a few months and start again when I had more time.
Then something exciting happened. Well, exciting for me anyway. It doesn't take much - haha. I got a referral. Not here at Wealthy Affiliate, but at a Traffic Exchange I use that I mentioned on my website. I haven't made any money yet, but just getting that one referral was enough to get me excited again.
My advice to anyone, DON'T QUIT! Take a break for a day or two if you need to, but don't give up. Follow the lessons and do the tasks, no matter how long it takes you. Sometimes it takes me a few days to create a page or post. Stay focused on your end goal, whatever it may be and keep moving forward.
Best Regards,
Patti (a.k.a. cashininnow)

Like your blog, am in the same shoe with you,a full time worker, have little time on my hand to do the necessary, finding it difficult to write content for my site. BUT HAVE DECIDED TO NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. Knowing deep down that one day success will smile at me. Thanks for sharing this encouraging article. All the best, God bless you.
