Life getting in the way.
So I posted recently that I was returning to work whilst building my business; and I thought I would give an update to share my challenges and solutions with others on the same journey...
I start my new job which involves oversight of 3 hospitals and 5 nursing homes in England. The original offer was to just be based in the middle of the country, but that changed on the first day to now covering half of the country. Well, I do like a challenge !
I had developed a plan to maintain my WA activities involving daily and weekly activities such as commenting, welcoming new members and adding to discussions as I was not tied to my 9-5. But this new work routine is forcing me to change this.
So, I now use an hour every night to complete training and tasks (this seems to be better for US based members due to the time difference), I welcome new members during my lunch break and write posts and my blogs on weekend mornings !
The journey to success is just hard and uncomfortable but I appreciate the words of encouragement from the WA family.
Have a great day everyone !

Yeah. It's sometimes difficult to keep up with activities in the community, especially if you are really tied up offline. However, keeping hanging in there. Wishing you more grease to your elbow.
You are doing great with that responsibility that you have and the success that you have now you will be just as successful with your own business just keep your head up and reaching for the stars.
I'm sure you will be terrific at your new job.
Sounds a challenge but you obviously have great organisational skills.
Good plan for your business.
Keep up the great work.
Lily 😊
Congratulations! A busy job! Sounds like you work for Spire or Bupa.. the doctor that I manage a website for, works at a Spire hospital.. I think busy people fit way more in than those that aren’t.. we get organised better!
Hi Helen,
Nope, none of those but in the same market.
Our business is not as big as spire, but we are snapping at their heels !
First week over and completed nearly 800 miles...
Thanks for your kind words.
Thanks for sharing your update.
We also have another online business as well as developing the Wealthy Affiliate site.
It does take balance and that comes through day by day practice and working out what works best on the time management side.
We wish you all the best, you will be fine.
Darren & Nicola :)
Thanks guys...
It will be worth it in the end... and if its not.... then its not the end..
Hi Cashain. It's not an easy task to balance an offline, online job and family. I wish you much success. Jim
Thanks for sharing this. It can be challenging fitting everything, but creating daily and weekly schedules helps a lot. Even if you have to reschedule to fit WA activities in, it still makes a difference. Best wishes, Kathy
Thanks Kathy.
I wanted to share as there must be others in a similar position and I wanted to deal with my feeling of guilt over not pushing on as fast as i was when not working.
So at the moment I'm semi-fast !
Cashain
Creating, a workable routine can really help us to, create some new outcomes.
Doesn't matter how slowly we begin we can all build momentum as we go.
Keep doing what you are doing, Cashian.
That's a really good idea !
I am sometimes amazed at what i can actually do (when I am not feeling like an imposter) so i will keep trucking on !
