Invitation to the Frog Pond

I have been self employed since the age of 22. I’m 41 now and am always most excited to find ways to serve my community. In this- my newest community I want to be ray of sunshine and a voice of experienced reason. If you are new to this whole self employment thing it may seem as if thee are endless distractions pulling you away from your work. My best advice is this : step away & find a quiet place to center yourself. It’s like an instant meditation when you can do this in a way to connect with nature. Lately my favorite spot to slip away to is the frog pond. It is naturally a quiet place and you have to be quiet to witness all of the frogs jumping into their pond. Frogs do not tolerate a commotion. The moments at the frog pond offer perspective on the importance of nature on our fragile planet -and for me the subtle fireworks of jumping frogs fills my heart with glee and giddy wonder. With my soul replenished I am able to come back to my desk anew - free of the frustrations that were clouding the mind. I am happy to invite you try stepping into nature during your work day- for just a moment & see if it doesn’t fill you with the same contentment I find as you carry on with your day.
