Built my First Website
So I have decided to run with the niche surrounding Money. I will probably narrow that down since that's a pretty broad term, but it's true, I love money (even though I don't have alot of it). I own www.synergizeyourmoney.com so I have called my free website that, and if I pull the trigger on becoming a premium member, I will have that domain ready to hook up.
Since I have my MAcc (Master of Accountancy) and am studying for both the CPA and CMA tests, I thought I could weigh in on being a modern day accountant and accounting student. Perhaps get some affilates for the test prep companies that I have used and am using now. Maybe get something hooked up with QuickBooks and other accounting softwares as well.
Next, I have tried out and currently use multiple different investing apps (acorns, stash, etc) and plan to use more. Again, I hope to strike some kind of affiliate deal with them as I talk about my experiences and pros and cons I have found within each different platform. I like the stock market, real estate market, and even the buzz of the cryptocurrency market (even though I lost money with Bitcoin).
I have been working with Excel, and Google Sheets at times, for the past 8 years and have become quite proficient at it. I am known as the "Excel Guy" at my current job. Believe me.... it's an exciting job... but to my point. I have been able to build extremely personalized budgets and calculators for people who are looking to buy a home, save for retirement, or simply get out of debt. I have practiced what I preach, and have tested my excel spreadsheets against the real world to find out that they are right on point. For instance, I have been able to buy two rentals homes while only making $50k a year. I also use my own hybrid budgeting system I have developed by piecing many different systems I have used together. Being a risk taking serial entreprenuer though, I can't say I am debt free, but I do know where my money goes.
A finally, what everyone has probably been thinking.... I should be able to integrate WA affiliate into this niche in some way. Whether I talk about small business, or work-at home opportunities, or side incomes, or something.... I think I can get WA to fit in nicely and perhaps pick up some referrals (and maybe even make it to Vegas. I live about 2 hours from Vegas, so I'm no stranger to it, but having someone else pay for a trip would be something I've never had the luxury of).
Bottom line is that I am excited and happy to have taken the first step towards using 1 of the domains I purchased, talk about and research something I am educated and interested in, and hopefully make money doing it. If this 1st website goes well, I have 3 other domains I own that pertain to my interests, and have found a few more domains that I may get once I become a premium member.
