My Journey to WA

So, I went Premium yesterday, yay! I think it’s a step in the right direction for me. Just a week ago I had no idea about building a website, keyword searching or Site Engine Optimization and now I do.

My journey to Wealthy Associates started a few weeks ago. It was a slow week at work, I was tired of enduring the dreaded two-hour commute to the office and I started to wonder if there were any legitimate ways to make extra income online.

I asked the mighty Google this question and I came up with a few options – filling out surveys and Forex Trading. Well, I did try with the surveys but after filling out a ton of information they told me there were no suitable surveys for me...dead end. Then I looked at Forex Trading and it seemed too complicated and risky. My next search brought up a site covering online scams versus legitimate income earning opportunities and that was where I first heard about Wealthy Affiliates.

I was pleasantly surprised by what I found at WA. I learnt so much before even paying a cent. At the end of my free seven days, paying the $19 was easy. I’m so excited that I couldn’t wait to get on the computer this morning. It is going to take a lot of time and effort on my part but I am encouraged given all the guidance provided here and seeing all the people in the WA community who have made it work. I’m going to take things slowly, work at it one step at a time and one day I’ll be blogging from home saying, “Hey guys, I quit work today, I’m making enough money from my online business!”
