My Time Away
My time away from Wealthy Affiliate may have only been about 30 or a little more days, but it was an education for me.
Basically...I tried to get through as many lessons as I could in the first 30 days. I was watching and taking 'shortcuts' to get through the coursework. It was cool for me...I thought that I could hack it basically. It was my time and money that I was costing, but I thought at least if I could see all the steps in front of me, that I could get off the site and go start making money...FAST!
Well...that was a bit of a rude awakening. I tried some stuff...and did what I could. I found a book about affiliate marketing and email marketing and studied them. I also picked up a book about being an entrepreneur by Darren Hardy called The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster (which I fully recommend). What I found during my time away is that what Wealthy Affiliate has going on here is THE best thing you could invest in to get your online business going.
This site helps you to think through all of the foundational things you will need to know to propel you forward once you fully launch. It will help you understand your niche better and get all your ducks in a row before you launch.
Passion is key! You have to choose a niche that you love or that you love to learn about! You can't just pick something and hope you stay interested. Pick what you LOVE to do. Turn a hobby into a website. Do what you can to connect with your niche. It has to be LOVE and PASSION that drives you...not just the prospect to make money.
I hope that this blog will help others to see the value is what WA has assembled here. There aren't many sites out there with this much knowledge available at all times. The training program is solid--the longer I was away, the more I could see that. It was a no-brainer for me to pay the premium membership. Once I get to the point that I can pay for the year...I will :).

Hi Carmen O.Hubbs I had experience the same thing as well and I'm happy that I did because it had helped me to grow and get better knowledge of it, and I'm still learning it's a good thing. Good luck...
