My five goals for 2016

The new year is under way and I'm excited about what this year will bring. I took a little time during the holiday with family that I enjoyed. I was ready to get back to working on my website. After struggling with pinning down my particular niche, and starting a quitting several domains because one was too broad, one was too boring and the other too narrow and I finally went back to the site I started with.....just right, Godilocks. Lol! Now I can focus on my content....another struggle for me because I overthink my topics. I guess I want it to be perfect like the blogs I see on Pinterest. But these blogs have been around a while and most of them share their struggles they had when they started. So, they didn't start out amazing. In fact, most of those blogs evolved into a particular niche after getting started because of many unforeseen factors. Chris here at WA told me to quit overthinking it and just write.

• So, goal number one.....just write content. Seriously, it sounds so simple, but not for some of us.
• Goal number two is to finish the courses and the boot camp here at WA. I have so much to learn. I wrote my first post today that promotes WA, but I haven't learned how to add the link yet. I haven't researched the keywords. I don't know how to send it out to my social medias that I have set up for my site. Needless to say, I didn't publish it yet. I may have gotten ahead of myself. ;)
• Goal number three is to learn how to monetize my site using the affiliate programs here at WA, Jaaxy, Amazon and Google.
• Goal number four is to take more pictures. Get my camera bag packed and take it with me everywhere I go.
• Goal number five is simply to just let it all happen. Quit trying to make it all perfect. Enjoy and appreciate the process.

So, Happy New Year to everyone! I am so glad to be back here at WA and get busy!
