It is so easy to dance around online and never really connect with anyone. We use the internet for various reasons. Often our intentions of using social media are really anything but social. Self-branding for the sake of a career or to build your business, searching for something of which most do not know what, filling the gaps between important events in life. Let me encourage you to connect with folks as you dance around on the various platforms that you use. It is so easy to just jump on here and then off again and never connect. For me, it defeats the purpose of social media. And yet let me further encourage you to be real, genuine, authentic, but reservedly so; If the authentic you is prone to go barreling over people then reign that in. Listen. Observe. Respond thoughtfully. Connect. There is no telling where this brave new world with very few boundaries will take you.
