How I Ranked Websites Via High Profile Connections
Easy backlinking and ranking for newbies?
SEO literature abounds with information about ranking by connecting websites to high authority sites. Words like Tier 1, Tier 2, Private Domain Networks (PBN) and more spin the heads of any newbie.
Been there done that.
"That" included subscriptions to expensive software that did nothing but take my hard earned money for a spin.
To simplify, I went the route of high authority, high trafficed, search engine active sites
In order to rank my websites, I created a Facebook page for my MAJOR webdites. -
Pros
Success. My FB backlink showed up in the search engines.
Cons
It is tedious to manually create and maintain accounts per site. I bought software to autopost niche specific content to the pages that I have, but I am tearing out my hair - thing does not publish no matter what I do and tweak.
To answer the questions about how to approach the issue - maybe you could set up generic page that cover a range of the niches that you are in..e.g. online marketing products, product offers, .health and wellness etc.

That's an idea I haven't thought about. Do you make an business page on Facebook? For now I just have posting on my private Facebook page and linked to my website and to Twitter.
You can use your private page. However, I personally find that niche specific pages seem to work. That could be because people search for keywords when they are looking for information.
For example, I created a page for my site earn free gift cards online, in order to capitalize on the keyword results for gift cards. Right now I am posting to groups via SHARE. I should be sleeping,, but this is fun.
However, pages can be tedious to manage unless you auto post via software or via the website itself.
The WordPress plugin JETPACK eases the burden of posting to FB and other social media accounts. Also, it is very easy to use.
Thanks for great information. I highly appreciate it! Sounds better to have a niche specific Facebook page. I'm sure people who are not interested in post targeted customers will appreciate it as well.
You are welcome. Having been there and done that, I feel that the best approach is to do what works best with you.
You are welcome. For example on Facebook, login to your personal account and hit CREATE. The process is very easy. Just follow the prompts.
You mentioned sites, do you create one account for each of your website or use one social media, say FB account for all websites?
Confessions of failed FB pages
I personally find it difficult to manually manage many FB pages. Therefore, I tend to create pages around on niches that interest me the most. Things are more manageable.
