Never give up even if you don’t see a positive result
Today I read some posts in the community, and I was so inspired by one sentence: Winner Never Quits! Quitters Never Wins! I thought if I didn’t quit in 2019, I could get greater success.
When I joined Wealthy Affiliate in 2019, I set a goal for myself: have revenue within half of a year. It was a small goal. But unfortunately, I failed to achieve the goal. I remembered that I bought a month of trial membership at that time.
But within that month, I did nothing to achieve the goal. I didn’t even build a website.
I was pregnant and I got my own job, so I didn’t spend much time on learning training in Wealth Affiliate. Then I thought it was too hard for me to build an online business. When the one-month membership ran out, I quit WA and hadn’t logged into the website until I lost my job in March 2020.
My son was born on 30th January, 2020. On one day of March, during maternity leave, my boss sent me a message and said sorry to me that he had to fire me because of the bad economy caused by COVID-19.
I was shocked and sad. Then I thought I needed to have my own business. I logged into Wealthy Affiliate again and bought half of a year's premium membership.
With the easy steps in the training, I had my own website soon, and I chose my niche and everything else. I built the website in March, but I started to publish articles in July (I needed to take care of my little son). Since then, I have posted 2-3 articles per week.
From now on, I have published 91 posts to my website. In December 2020, I got my first affiliate commission. It’s been more than a year since I joined Wealthy Affiliate. That’s why I said I failed to achieve my goal. But I keep moving.
In January, I got four sales, and five sales this month. Beside this, I am earning from Google Adsense.
The sales are too small to support me to make it a full-time job. But I know I’ll make it come true one day as the system in Wealthy Affiliate really works.
Don’t give up if you don’t see a positive result in a short period. It takes time for Google to rank your site better. You just need to keep publishing quality articles. For me, it takes more than half of a year to get commission. Just be patient.

it will grow, I have around 750 visitors a month to old content and make around $20-$30 a month off it. More traffic more money, less bounce and a set following will explode that.
Great work Camilla, I'm so happy to see that your hard work is starting to pay off!
Keep working hard towards your dreams.
Hi Camilla,
I first started with WA back in Oct. 2014 but I quit. Oh well, not one of my better decisions.
Due to certain injuries at work, I re-joined WA in Sept. 2018 and have not looked back.
Glad to hear you got some sales and your journey of success will continue as long as you stick with it.
All the very best,
Michael
Thank you. It's amazing that you've been stick with it so long.Learn from you. I hope I could make it a full-time job one day too.
Best wishes,
Camilla
Hi Camilla, if there is anything I can do to help you on your journey to success, please ask.

Great post Camillamo
You're proof that a little perseverance can pay off.
The saying that "winners never quit and quitters never win" has been my motto for years. It is true. Because if one does quit at whatever goal or aim they're shooting for they may end up regretting that decision and continue to live life in mediocrity.
Keep on keeping on and plenty of success to you!
