One month progress on WA
So its the one month mark. What have I learned thus far?
Well, for starters, there is sooo much training here on WA! It can feel overwhelming at times. I find myself researching a problem that I have, like trying to encourage traffic to my site, or how best to place a link on the website, and end up spending more than 30 minutes browsing other trainings! I'm definitely experiencing the 'shiny object' syndrome that entrepreneurs tend to experience, here on WA. I have learned that I need to be patient and take it a day at a time. I won't be able to digest all of the information at once. But there really is great support and guidance for us here at WA, just have to try not to digest it all at once.
I have set up another website in addition to the one that I started, so now I have two websites! I'm writing content for two websites now so I may look into getting a writer further down the road.
I don't have much traffic yet, but I hope that that will pace forward in the next couple months. I'll do an update to reveal how my traffic is coming along.
I've also worked out a bit of a strategy for organizing my work. It goes like this:
The first time that you write, you may not know what to write. You may try to search for ads, or for images. But that is not the way.
1. First, look up the keyword phrase that you want to write your post on.
2. Then, just write out what you want to say in the first go.
3. Then edit it.
4. Then find images.
4. Then look for ads or affiliate links after you have written the third or fourth post.
This way you are more efficient with you time and energy. Don’t try to do everything at once. Work on one thing at a time. You will feel the satisfaction of finishing all of the blog and knowing that you included as much as you could have. If you don’t get it right with the post that you are working on, know that you have other blog posts to get it right on.
These are my thoughts and experiences so far. I'm looking foward to learning a great deal more and applying it to further success.

Congrats on your progress Camille!
When you are feeling less overwhelmed, and if you have not seen Jay's video he did a few weeks ago about 20 steps to an awesome blog post, check this out: 2018 Blog Post Checklist
Thank you Howard,
And yes I saw Jay's video on the 20 steps to an awesome blog post. It was very helpful in focusing my efforts on just how to write the blog. How are you doing here on WA? Thank you again for the link, I'll be reviewing it today.
Cheers!
Doing good Camille. Always learning new stuff, even after almost four years.
Press on . . .
Wow, four years! And is it making the income you need?
I get both affiliate income and business from my website. It is not retirement income but it does support all my other business ventures and pays the bills!
