First Online Training.
Attended a live training tonight and I must admit that the more involved I get in the program the more impressed I am with it's overall professional approach.
When I joined WA, it was because I was thinking outside the box for once in my life and it is very refreshing to be free from that box that my life and career were heading into. For years I had learned all the entire aspects of the RV industry, and earned a modest living by doing so. Now is where the outside thinking comes into play. I can take the knowledge I have gained from years of working for others in that industry and earning my little share of the loot they generated, or I can take that information and experience and turn it into an informative and helpful on-line career. The focus shouldn't just be on generating a comfortable income; although it is a goal, but the real focus is on establishing a trustworthy web-site that is helpful and informative to those that happen on it.
As scary as it may sound, I can actually see how it all must be set up in my head and now the feat is to make it all work together on the site. Running a site is sort of like conducting an orchestra. Knowing what and when and what plays well along with another. Hopefully I am a good conductor or it will all come out organized chaos. But I have no fear and will make the most of my inabilities and learn from my mistakes.
WA has helped me find my so called Niche, just as in the expression!
I am off building two web sites now. One is more or less my idea dumping ground; an infant that will need constant changing as it grows, and the other a more structured and organized site, having a little more maturity. I hope.
The knowledge I have gained in the short time I have been involved is highly remarkable to me. That I could understand it all so easily is only because the training and help are informative enough to aid me in understanding it all.
My hat is off to WA and all those in the community.
I refuse to go back into the box that I came from. The only thing I want out of boxes from now on in my life, is hamburgers and Christmas presents!
