Moving on up! Progress has slowed a bit with his crazy mixed up winter and the nasty bugs that have invaded our home. This morning, my nine year old took a whiff of the morning air and declared "It smells like baseball season". Too bad it's February and the ever changing climate can make it hard to adapt. On the bright side, hopefully outdoor recess allows for the opportunity for a little Vitamin D consumption. But that's all for another time and a new website...

At first, I was feeling rather dull and boring. I decided that I needed to find my voice when I wrote, even if that involved being a little snarky or sarcastic. I am really enjoying the learning process, but I'm looking forward to doing something that resonates more with who I am as a person. I have learned that it is important to let your personality come into play. I hope everyone is enjoying the process, regardless of what stage of the game you are at.

I find myself following all the rules which is something I am not accustomed to and I don't necessarily enjoy! Ooh...such a rebel! Don't get me wrong, I am finding this entire process rather fulfilling, but I think as we move forward I will choose topics that I find less confining with more room for my voice to be heard. After adding myself as the author of my writing, I gave myself permission to do just that. Nobody minds a touch of snarky do they? I think I need to have fun with this and that

As with running a marathon, it begins with that first step. Those 26.2 miles may seem daunting, but there is nothing more exhilarating than the finish line. I'm off and running so wish me luck!
