Toxic Work Environment
Hi all you WA success engineers. Not sure, but you may have noticed I've been quiet here for a few weeks. I'm not ignoring you I promise. The work environment that I currently find myself in has become extremely toxic and I've been trying to find a way out without just quitting. It's at the point where I'd love to just quit my 9 to 5 job and escape this toxic environment and concentrate fully on WA. I'm just not in a financial position to do that yet. I've applied to multiple jobs over the last two weeks and have a very promising interview this Tuesday. Until I get settled in a new position I'll have to concentrate on that for a bit. That being said, I will still check in everyday and continue to be a part of the great WA community.
I'm hoping in less than 5 years I will finally be able to control my own business not be controlled by someone else's business.
Keep pushing forward everyone!

Cal thanks for the following and good luck in your WA endeavor. I hope you will soon achieve your awesome dreams. God Bless.
Good luck with that job interview, Cal, it seems like you really need to get away from your current position.

Yep, at this point, there is little communication and no transparency. I am in a support role and I'm the last one to find out anything about the business which makes it really hard to communicate honestly with our clients. It's time to GO!

Hi Cal. I was in your situation. The toxic side I could control and deal with BUT the boredom and feeling of time slipping away made me jump quite suddenly... It has been financially tough at times but I have never regretted it.... WA is the next step for me.. Regards mike

Best of everything Cal on your job search. I understand about your situation, I was there for quite a number of years. It was challenging.
Perhaps focus on what matters most. Hang in there.
Absolutely, we all go through these types of situations. I wish I could just concentrate fully on WA. Just not there financially yet.

No problem Cal, we're here for you. I had a personal mentor (before WA) and I still apply this to myself today.
I know this is easier said than done, and I thought my mentor was crazy, LOL. He told me that I should use the work and financial challenges be my reason to build the business (my previous business).
Not sure if that helps.
