Good morning success engineers, just wanted to reach out to everyone and let you know we got in at the last minute on the yearly deal. We haven't been active in a long time. Calvin is working at a new job and doing IT support for an orthopedic doctor's office. When the virus hit and everyone went home to work our daily tasks tripled. Anyway, we were glad to take advantage of the yearly deal and look forward to talking to everyone and writing when I can.Have a great day!CalChrisH

I was driving into work one morning this week and heard a song on the radio that had the phrase, "she drinks coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings". My first initial reaction was, lordy, I can't wait for a large coffee when I first get into work - to wake up - and then a large glass of wine when I got home - to unwind from another stressful day. Then I got to thinking about Wealthy Affiliate and the new ideas that Calvin and I have together for getting our new website and business li

Greetings Success Engineers,No Writing ExplanationI guess a few of you have wondered where the heck I went too? Well, it's a long story that I won't boar you with, however, I feel an explanation is needed for my abscence. On August 20th I started a new job as an IT Technician. The company is about 35 miles from my home. So, here I go again, driving long distances to work. Actually, the drive does not take me through the city, so it's not too bad.My hours each day are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Hello Success Engineers! This is my mid-week vacation check in from Corolla, NC. Pictured above is our beach camp on the first day here at Corolla, NC. This location is famous for wild horses that run free around the beach area. We have seen two so far, however, those images are not on my phone. I'll post after we return home. The weather is really hot but I guess that's what happens when you're at the beach in August. My wife and I visited the Currituck Lighthouse yesterday and of course

On August 6th I wrote a post titled, "Well, I Finally Found It". Over the last year I had described to the community the toxic work environment I was trapped in and how I had been searching for a new job.The interesting part about all of this is, my new boss asked in my interview when I could start if I was selected for the position. I told him I would be on vacation the week of August 12th - 16th and could start on Monday August 19th. Even after telling him I would be on vacation I still go

Hello Success Engineers, it's been a while since I posted. Actually, I've been spending a lot of time searching for another full-time job. As a lot of you know I have not been happy with my current employment situation for some time now. In fact, on November 16, 2018, I wrote, "Witnessing The Reason Why". I took a picture one morning while driving to my job and stopped in traffic on the interstate. At that time, this image was to show the reason why I joined Wealthy Affiliate. Then, on Ja

Greetings Success Engineers! On January 14, 2019, I wrote a post titled,"My Name is Hank". That was four days after our youngest son bought Hank, the yellow male Labrador Retriever. Hank was the off spring of the sister of our other black lab, Penny. In that post I promised to give an update on Hank. At Hank's first veterinarian visit the Doctor advised he thought when Hank is fully grown he should weigh between 90 and 100 pounds. Well, he was right. At 8 months old he is now around 75 pound

Hello Success Engineers,I wanted to write a quick post this morning while it's fresh in this old mind of mine. Last night, I watched the ESPY Awards. I ususally do this each year and because there was no baseball games to watch because of the MLB All-Star break the ESPY's filled in quite nicely. ESPN does a great job honoring athletes in many categories and last night's show was one of the best I've seen.On March 4, 1993, Jim Valvano, championship winning coach at N.C State, gave an impassio

Greetings Success EngineersFirst, let me say thank you to all the military personnel who paid the ultimate sacrifice for all of us who live in the US to lead safe productive lives. I also know that there are many other patriots who fought for the freedom of people all over the world. And, as this is a diverse multi-cultural community I know many of you here at WA also honor those who died protecting your freedoms as well. I wanted to take a few minutes this morning and talk about my laptop li

Good morning Success Engineers,On November 16, 2018, I wrote a blog post titled "Witnessing The Reason Why". Since that time I have met many folks here at WA and learned more here than I ever learned in college. Today, before I really get rolling on the SAC Month II tasks, I wanted to follow up with another quick post titled "Witnessing The Reason Part II".Anyone that has read my profile knows how I feel about working for someone else. ( "My goal is to start an online business and to be my ow
