Checking In
Hello Success Engineers! This is my mid-week vacation check in from Corolla, NC. Pictured above is our beach camp on the first day here at Corolla, NC. This location is famous for wild horses that run free around the beach area. We have seen two so far, however, those images are not on my phone. I'll post after we return home.
The weather is really hot but I guess that's what happens when you're at the beach in August. My wife and I visited the Currituck Lighthouse yesterday and of course we've done some beach shopping too.
I stopped in to check messages and say hi to new members.
I hope everyone is having a successfully productive day!

I wish I could go like you. But Im stuck with my 2nd round of chemo. Once I feel better I would love to go in this places.
Enjoy your tip and thank you for sharing this to everyone.
Have a blessed day.
Thank you for commenting Arlene. I trust that you will overcome your illness and be able to travel. Make sure you go to the beach. It's very therapeutic.

Hi Darren, really fun, really hot and really crowded. It surely beats working though.

Yes, from what we can tell they look very healthy. I've only seen them from a distance. As cars drive on the beach they tend to gallop away on to the dunes rather quickly.

Was curious because we have them on Cumberland Island too but they don't appear to be all that healthy. Not enough pasture for them all I suppose and beach grass is not a great pasture grass.
Was in that area last October. Actually visited that lighthouse as well. Beautiful views.
Enjoy the rest of your trip!
We've been coming to the Outer Banks for years. We've mostly stayed in Ocracoke Island or around the Hatteras area. This is our first time to Corolla. It's very nice, however, very crowded.
