Yes, from what we can tell they look very healthy. I've only seen them from a distance. As cars drive on the beach they tend to gallop away on to the dunes rather quickly.

Was curious because we have them on Cumberland Island too but they don't appear to be all that healthy. Not enough pasture for them all I suppose and beach grass is not a great pasture grass.

Honestly, the tourists are not supposed to feed or touch them, however, I think they do.

Same policy on Cumberland Island. Enjoy your vacation.

We've been coming to the Outer Banks for years. We've mostly stayed in Ocracoke Island or around the Hatteras area. This is our first time to Corolla. It's very nice, however, very crowded.
