Under Pressure
Lately I have been under a bit of pressure from my significant other to get a job. For some reason, my website isn't making any money. Last month I had 4 clicks, not orders, clicks. This month I have had none. I am trying hard to post at least twice a week and keep it interesting but no one is coming or ordering.
I really love what I am doing with my website and here at WA. I love the community and I have recently discovered the ambassador program. I am afraid that if I don't start bringing in money from this then I will have to give up my membership and websites. Although I am trying to be positive about this, I'm not sure what to do at this point.
I am not giving up without a fight! I am still fighting to try and get people to come to my website and bring in some money here.
Wish me luck and I wish you great luck!

Hi there Caitlynn
Sorry you appear to be getting some grief from your other half, I suppose it can be inevitable sometimes especially if there is pressure on family finances but having started here at WA it would be a great pity if you gave that away.
As I see it, you've got your site up and running so you have already achieved much more than many who don't even get that far in their attempts to make it online, so it would seem all you have to do is grow it from here and that does take time.
Your bio showed that you were working at the best western so did that come to end? If so maybe it would be better to take some of the pressure off yourself to make money from your site quickly by taking another job, maybe even part time, just so that your partner can see that you are contributing but also so that you can carry on with WA and building your site.
Hope it all goes well for you, please do all that you can to make sure you don't have to abandon your dreams. Let me tell you that life goes very fast and I would have loved to have the opportunity you have in front of you now at your stage in life.....makes the rest of your life about making your own decisions and not living somebody else's dreams...think about that!
Good luck
Mark
Yes I left my job due to the fact I was tired of missing out my family and life. They expected me to work 16 hour days 7 days a week. I have tried to get other jobs but when they see what I have done in the past (skills and management wise) they instantly expect more from me and want to promote me or give me more hours regardless of what I tell them I want. I also only have a baby sitter during the day so finding a part time job in my tiny little town that I wont have to work nights is externally hard. But thanks for the thought!
You're welcome Caitlynn and I really hope you can square this circle you're in!
Good luck
Mark
Make sure that you go through the training again check out other websites of members that are getting 100 of hits a day. Check google to see if your using the best keywords. Check where your site is listed in Google. The more you get to the top of Google or any search engine if you can get to the first page then you will see better results. Use a keyword finder and use it.
Thanks for the advice! I will try to focus more one keywords and getting ranked higher.
I appreciate the support!

Say no and try to convince your partner. Sometimes it can take even 1 year before you realize success on internet. Never worry and don't go away tomorrow will be your day. It is now six months since I joined here and I started seeing my success on May. Your day is coming.
