Today, my mind is just blank and I was just looking at my workspace / desk. So why not write about it.

I currently have a dedicated room as an office space at home.

Setup

My setup used to be two monitors and a mac mini, but one monitor broke down.

Then I got a ransomware laptop that I got working again and went with a mac mini with one monitor and macbook pro setup.

However, I missed the two monitor setup I had before so currently the mac mini is resting and I have connected the other monitor with the macbook pro.

I can research in one monitor and type on the lapatop screen.

Mouse and keyboards are connected to the laptop but I just like the feel of the laptop keyboard and trackpad so I use those more.

Setup 2

Everything sits on a big table that I got from my previous boss. (He closed his office and was gonna throw away most of the office furnitures, I got them for free but moving truck not free.) I have two office chairs one from the same boss and the other is an executive style office chair from a hospital clinic. The executive chair had a broken wheel so that almost went into the dumpster, but I asked for it and then bought some replacement wheels on Amazon.

The executive chair was a big improvement on my office space. Made me feel like a boss.

I also have logitech speakers which I hardly use now a days to minimize noise coming from the room. Now I use apple wired earphones that came with a second hand iphone SE.

Setup other side

At my back is two computer tables from surplus stores that I got for cheap. One is extra writing space while the other has a continous ink jet printer from epson and a document shredder underneath.

If you are wondering why I have an all apple work environment, well its because it works for me. I find it more efficient and productive. You can focus on the tasks at hand. Also you can install windows or open source os like ubuntu on a mac free of charge as a secondary boot sequence. I had that setup previously when I had only microsoft office for windows.

Additional notes

I also have a diffuser that I use for essential oils with blends either for stress or for focus. Then I either have a cup of coffee nearby or a mug of water.

I think that covers my office space for you.
