Help Your Site Load Quicker, Compress PNG Images For Free, Just Drag & Drop
I'm no techy, so I'm always looking to make things nice and easy. This is a great find, no affiliate link here and I have no connections with this website whatso ever.
There are a few factors to help your site load faster. One of them is to reduce the file size of your images. This site is free to use, they ask for a donation but that's entirely up to you.
The image below was was 68.5 KB I dragged and dropped it in to the website and it reduced it to 17.5 KB that's -75%. I can't tell the difference between the images.
The website is https://tinypng.com I will be using this everytime before loading an image to my site. All you have to do now your site loads quicker is making the customer stay longer!

One way to save on the image file size is to use jpg and not png. A jpg can be compressed a lot easier with less distortion than a png or a gif, which is why a jpg is the preferred file type for websites.
They have a plugin as well so you can do images already on your website. The free version has a limit of so many per month but it's several hundred (don't recall exact amount).
