What if.

It's a well known fact that North Korea represents a most dangerous challenge to the US since the end of the cold war. This crisis ha been looming for along time and certainly creates cause for concern especially that the destructive forces of war creates suffering and gross inconveniences on people lives and livelihoods.

I'll play the Devil's advocate for the moment. Assuming war does break out between the US and North Korea, chances are that our vital infrastructure will be severely affected...water supply, power, and most probably internet services my main reason for this blog.

Satellites become an indispensable component of our modern high-tech society. Has anyone really thought about what could happen if all satellites suddenly disappeared at times of war? And this could be done in a number of ways. The enemy could physically attack satellites from ground stations, jam com links, release pellet clou attacks, deploy high altitude missiles or detonate high altitude nuclear nuclear devices which would wreak havoc to our modern civilization. All satellites orbiting the earth are vulnerable to destruction on way or the other resulting in short or long term inconvenience.

The resulting inconvenience could hinder or prevent our ability to communicate, share information and conduct vital transactions. Hundreds of millions of internet connections would vanish or be severely overloaded. Cell phones would be rendere and all internet services would be lost. Computer networks would experience tremendous slowdowns or be eliminated entirely.

Now the questions after all of the above: Is Wealthy Affiliate ready for such possibility as listed above. How will business be conducted for the thousands of members and affiliates who depend on Wealthy Affiliate for an income and promotion of their online business? How will communication be conducted as currently practised? How will records be kept of members and affiliates business transactions...among many other relevant concerns.

Remember, I'm only being the Devil's advocate as one never knows...
