OUR PERSONAL COMMITMENT TO SUCCESS IN 2018

During this new year of 2018, we can positively be encourages that this year will be more uplifting than the previous one. It doesn’t mean that we will not continue to experience frustrations, disappointments and sometimes failures in ourselves as the roadblocks to online success will still be the most challenging aspect of our learning experiences to lead us to eventually become successful in the online business.

While tough challenges can increase our resilience, it’s safe to say that many members of Wealthy Affiliate have overcome their challenges and achieved that plateau of success they set out for. Nevertheless there is always good with the bad, but one of the most powerful tools we possess and is able to use is ‘Commitment’. That helps us to focus on the good that can come out of such circumstances. We most certainly need commitment to learn the business of online marketing in order to ultimately secure meaningful income for ourselves and our families.

We should commit to learn about online marketing by actively completing the training courses and using the multitude of resources available at Wealthy Affiliate. The community of well-wishers is an encouraging aspect of our experience as it includes many online marketing experts who already have the experience and knowledge and are prepared to assist us in any way possible. We should be grateful for such a forum that is available 24/7.

Here are five simple ways to express our commitment to succeed:

CREATE A RITUAL OF COMMITMENT

This concept is easier said than done, and will require some practice for many of us to get a handle on it. When it comes to our minds, it is natural for us to create a negative reel of our day, the people we encounter, and the stress we feel as well. Oftentimes we consider it to be venting, a part of our culture or even just a part of who we are as individuals.

Nevertheless, research has shown that individuals with a commitment to anything, as a habit, are more successful at attaining their goals, high levels of satisfaction and happiness, than others who simply want to, but have no real plan or continuous vision as to how to attain it. So whether you encourage fellow WA members of the highs and lows of the day via the chat forum, or simply state three positive things about your day to yourself, be it wonderful or horrible, you can kick-start a ritual of commitment, come what may.

CREATE A COMMITMENT CALENDAR

Research has shown that simply having a calendar where you write down at least one thing that you commit to do each day, can be a great way to practice a commitment to accomplish daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly goals. We should stay focused and always keep our goals in sight and make necessary adjustments as needed.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN WAY TO EXPRESS COMMITMENT

Each of us is different from the other in what our commitments are and how we understand and process things.

Stating it or merely creating an active display of a commitment to succeed…even with our families, lives and community is no less important than someone writing down the things they are committed to. Whatever our commitment is, let it be meaningful and personal. Our commitment is more of a personal initiative and how we express it depends on us as individuals, and no one and nothing else.

BEING COMMITTED, BUT GENTLE

We should be gentle with ourselves, enough to remember that it takes time and energy to commit to anything during difficult and chaotic moments in our lives. Life’s challenges will always come and is something that cannot be overlooked, denied or avoided. Nevertheless we must decide to continuously work for the betterment of ourselves through means of making commitment to our goals, and aspirations which can make the biggest differences in our lives.

We must always be cognizant that despite the challenges we will all face this year, forward is forward…regardless of the pace.
