Taking notes on my progress. Day 4

Coming up with clear, concrete goals that are measurable has been a very weak point in my past, and even during the last year of research and studying. I can see clearly how/why I've gotten to where I am before my decision to take matters into my own hands on a better level. To answer the question about what are my four non-financial goals goes beyond just answering them for the sake of fulfilling a WA task, but rather to improve my skills in clarity and visualization. So...here we go

The next 10 days.

I want to found a proper market or niche that feels and sounds right. It doesn't have to be anything I'm directly involved with at the moment, but the products are things I feel comfortable enough with to promote. I also want to be able to break down my steps and strategies clearly and stick to my plan each day rather than venturing off into some unknown direction (as I'm famous in doing so)
The next 30 days.

I want at least one site in a point where I can work on optimizing SEO techniques, as well as other techniques. However, beyond the web marketing stuff (as I almost found my self discussing financial goals), I want to be confidently into my current fitness program that I've started. I don't have to show much physical changes in the muscles and weight, but I want to be able to perform my routines with proper form and with confidence.

I have a personal goal of working towards a "hard body', inspired from watching the Arrow.
The next 6 months.

By now I would want to be able to travel to the Bay area frequently. Which requires a little explanation towards my current situation. I'm a father of a 9 year old daughter who is currently in the Bay Area. Even though I wasn't with her mother, we still perform as mutual parents and as a team. For a while I was the major bread earner, but when the economy "tanked", the tech/web industries got hit very badly. I was forced to relocate to the Portland area where my parents live. Long story short, I was able to get more work up here than I was down there, and I was able to visit...but unable to find a job that was willing to have me work remote so I could get back down the Bay Area to be with my child. However, the trend finally caught up here as it did in the bay area. Work dried up. I said "screw it. I'm doing web marketing. I need freedom, and I don't want to depend on employers any longer". So, let's go back to what I just answered again:

By now I would want to be able to travel to the Bay area frequently. I would say at least two times a month, or more. Even if they're short weekend visits at times.

The next year.

By now, I'm able to plan where I would want to live out side this area. Either closer to the Bay, or in an area closer to my creative and personal networks and have the means to travel. I want to keep this one open, because I've not decided where I want to physically live yet, but I want the ability to travel and meet up with networks from around the nation and globe.

I also want to start planing the building of my recording studio, which had to be put on a hiatus when the economic trend hit up here in Portland.

Good job breaking things down into smaller goals! You can do it!

Why thank you. I'm going to keep breaking it all down smaller and smaller so I'm taking action steps each time i do something vs. having a vague notion of what I want, but not having all the details broken down. Which is why I'm still "learning"...

Keep up the good work!

Thank you Tiralynn....I love writing, so I'll be rambling more of my answers and thoughts along the way :D
