Affiliate Bootcamp Lesson 2 notes
Having read the target audience tutorial was rather inspiring. Rather than using the keyword research to decide upon a niche, it allowed me to see how it helps define my target audience...which seems more organic.
I'm going to have to review the list of ideas again, and brain storm a little. I have a vague notion of what will separate me from the others. I keep stumbling upon the "life empowerment" type audience in my thinking. But what that is, I don't know. So I'll flesh out
- Some one who was disillusioned by his profession.
- Become severely unemployed after the economy hit.
- realizing there's got to be a way to way to build wealth, develop businesses with little to no initial costs.
OH WAIT!!! I just remembered. Even though I had understood affiliated marketing from my past web developer experience, I had always looked at it as a means to augment your current business model (meaning, added value to your site, or a means to draw them in to your site from something they already are familiar with, but then have them get acquainted with your own uniquely developed offer) However, it was through T Harv Eker where I learned the term "Passive income".
From passive income I learned about Pat Flynn's awesome Smart Passive Income. So perhaps, that's where I'll start. Playing off the Passive income keywords.
BLAM! This note taking session worked out better than I thought
Next I should think about how to handle the domain name thing.
