Well, I've been at this for less than one month, and I would say my progress has been pretty good. I have one website up with four blog posts, a home page and an About Us page. And I have an ugly Google+ business page up. I've started following others, and most have reciprocated and are following me.

I must admit, though, that when I started I didn't expect to spend more than 2 to 3 hours a day on this, but that was a pipe dream. I'm literally spending 4-6 hours a day. Researching and writing blog posts is very time-consuming. Not easy as many of you already know. Working on this "job" is really cutting into to my pickleball playing (ha!).

And developing the website wasn't easy either. I had some help from someone on this and continue using this person to post the blogs. I hope to figure this out someday soon. In my opinion the training for working with the technical aspects of the site are somewhat lacking, but maybe that's just me. Let me just say this has been the most challenging part of the work. Same with creating a nice-looking Google+ site. Not much in the way of good instruction here at WA.

My niche is pickleball - Pickleball Strategy 101. This may sound strange to many of you because pickleball is primarily a U.S. sport not well known outside the U.S. Believe it or not, pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S. Pickleball courts are sprouting up all over the U.S. - in parks, YMCA's, residential communities and especially in senior developments. There are hundreds of websites on pickleball. My niche is pickleball strategy.
I am happy with the way the website is turning out, and I have a lot of ideas for articles and ways to generate income. I'm committed to making it a serious revenue generator. I have also started a second site called Racquet Exchange, where people can buy and and sell used racquets for any sport. I'm just getting started with this and will not put too much effort into it until I become more successful with the pickleball site.

My plans and goals for the next three months are to continue the training and keep my head down and build out the pickleball site and do whatever I'm told in the training. I'm not expecting much in the way of income over the next three months. I built two successful business over the past 55 years and know what it takes to be successful. I sold both businesses at the right time and did very well. I'm 70 and comfortably retired. Well, I was retired until I got into WA. I know that you shouldn't expect to make much money in the first three months. I'm just trying to be realistic.

Looking ahead over the next six months, I do hope to start generating some income. Unlike most people here, I'm not looking to make a killing - a couple of thousand dollars a month would be wonderful. I truly enjoy the work and the challenge and whatever happens is okay with me. I look forward to learning with the program. I'm a big pickleball fan and hope to be able to tap into the hundreds of thousands of pickleball players around the U.S. and try to develop a following. That would be terrific!
