Hey all...
Hoping someone might be able to provide me some insight. We have several domains that are non .com. In fact they are all generally .ca domains as we're involved
I do not see why you can not host your domains on WA, As a Premium Member you have the right to host as many websites as you wish, that's what I know so far.
I've never heard that you cannot host .ca domains on WA. Sorry I can't be more definite.

Non com domains with wa hosting?
Hey all...

Hi Bryan.
Yes you can point any domain here - I have .co.uk/.net/.com etc all pointing here.
WA doesn't host your domains - you just need to update your nameservers on whoever does look after your domains (namecheap, godaddy etc), to point to WA web hosting.
What issues are you running into?
Cheers, Mark
Thanks for the feedback Mark... I would have thought that there wouldn't be an issue either....
Changed the domain names in Godaddy to point to the WA NS1 & NS2 name servers as described. When I move on to step 4 to try and build my website, I keep getting stuck on the rename your domain name servers.
When I use a .com domain, there hasn't been any issues and WA hosting recognizes the domain name server change instantly.
Now I know it can take up to 24 hours for the DNS to propogate, however it just seems funny, that the .com domain names pick up instantly and allow you to move on from Step 4, however with my .ca domains I can;t seem to.
Thoughts?

Hi - I've seen delays of 2 days or more, for domains to propogate.
For example, in the past, I have logged onto my dedicated server (hosted in the US), and looked at my website, and it'll view the new site - however when I look at the site from my computer in the UK - it still points to the old site.
It will update eventually - just a lot of servers on the internet, that need to have the new information updated on them before you see it updated from everywhere.
All the best, Mark
