Meli Kelimaka!
I was thinking of the Bing Crosby song on Friday. The title is a transliteration of Merry Christmas in Hawaiian since that alphabet has fewer consonants than in English.
After a big snowstorm in early December, and a fresh inch the previous Sunday, my state of New Hampshire got heavy rain this past Friday, leading to the unusual situation where there was snow on the side of the road, but it was in the 50's Fahrenheit (about 11 Celsius) and heavy rain causing poor visibility, almost fog conditions for drivers.
I am continuing with the Facebook training and making good progress in putting content on my Facebook page. Now I just need to get people to visit and Like my Page!

Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas) is the proper way to say it. I'm sure it was just a matter of your fingers being numb from the cold Bryce.
Mel
Right, thanks for the correction.
My first Christmas in Hawaii while in the Marines, I really disliked because it was hot, sunny & green. So I always tried to go home for Xmas in Wisconsin after that.
Now that I live in the Philippines, I prefer the hot to cold, but the song: Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere we go... just doesn't work here.
