I'm Climbing the Steps, One Day at a Time
Hey everyone,
Just a little update on my progress. I've completed the first two phases of the Core Training and started the 3rd one, but I took a break from that to join the Wordpress Community and start more detailed training on Wordpress.
I was feeling a little stuck when it came to working on my website. Some of the steps I needed to do didn't seem to be covered in the Core Training, or were touched on only lightly. It's easy to watch the video and then not do anything, I am trying to avoid that.
I resolved the issue today when I had a little more time to think about my next steps.
I have been in WA every day working on little steps to move ahead with my plans. I am climbing the Steps to Success, every day!
I have just joined the Beta for the Image Studio, and I made the image there for the top of this post. Anyway, I am prioritizing setting little daily actions that get me closer to my bigger projects, and then making sure I do them every day.
Some examples include watching a training video every day, or part of one. Also commenting on at least one blog post every day. I am also committed to writing a website article every week, more often in certain parts of the year when I have more content. I use a task tracking program called Habitica, which rewards me for completing tasks I have set for myself. And I will make sure to put all of these into Habitica.
Today I wrote a post for my website, also added the About Me page. And I decided, rather than deleting the Welcome to your premium website article that WA put on my website, I really like the information there, for my own use. I set it to private so no one but me can see it. Has anyone else done this?
I've also produced quite a few images in the Image Studio, I'm sure I'll be sharing some of them soon.
Anyway, that's it for now. I'll probably write a couple more times this week but wanted to update people who are wondering how things are going for me.

That's a lovely image the Image Studio created for you. Yes, the step - or rather non-step you describe - happened to me on my newest Bootcamp site. There were so many things to do in the first week, some of which took me a long time because I wanted to get them right and some I didn't know how to do so I left them. I then spent lots of time on one task in Week 2 and realised I had neglected my first two websites. So I have now gone back to these two and to my book projects and the Bootcamp site hasn't got any attention.
I do take a couple of steps every day, but with 6 projects on the go, I find it difficult to move forward steadily with all of them. I will take a look at Habitica. It may be helpful for me. Thanks for mentioning this.

The key to all successful progress is consistency no matter how big or how small the steps you take are. Even if you have to take a day off and then start up a day later only for one hour, that is still consistency. Slow and steady wins the race.
Thanks, that's a great reminder!
You are welcome.
