I own a. Net domain that matches my main Url. Can I use a redirect from it to my WA affiliate link. Is it a black hat technique? How do I mask my Url without upsetting Google?

The index.php file is the file that handles the actual redirects, it does a 302 redirect and sends an X-Robots-Tag header along, which makes sure the search engines that obey those headers aren’t allowed to index or follow the URL, should you forget the robots.txt exclusion.

Is anyone out there?

plugin pretty link....you can redirect using any affiliate link and it looks like an internal link...all above board and google loves internal links as it views you as an authority (ie not directing traffic away from your site for information )

Nathaniell should have you covered If that's not what you're looking for then try

Thanks Marion!

A member suggested that I need to improve my Top Level appearance on my webpages. How can I do that effectively so readers want to engage and read the rest of my content?

Yup guess that it has already been replied by Hayu, have a mixture of picture, text and stuff. As just text and long paragraphs will frustrate many as we all needs a little pause that pictures and short paragraphs comes up, Since on long only and just text we can easily get lost and in my case asleep and give up reading.

Hello Broncos2015! I think these some simple steps will make your pages have good appearance, for example:
- Write your contents in short paragraphs, not the long one. Because it will make make the readers tend to stop reading in the middle of paragraph.
- Add images which related to your contents.
- Add colors, bold, or underlines to your texts.
- Justify your texts.

I hope this will help. Good luck!

Thanks Hayu!

My pleasure.

Can you specify which site you want to say?
Because you have some... :-)

Grtz,
Bert

Hi Bert, I have refined the top of my page since I got the critique that told me I need a better "Top Level Appearance". I'm just not sure how much more I can do within the theme I am using to "Grab" the readers attention quickly? http://howtomakemoneytheinternet.com/.. Thanks!

Yes indeed, for this site I follow Hayu completely... I would at least add color and add an image...

Grtz,
Bert

When I added a header it is too large, its the only thing that shows up..I have tried re-sizing.. I think it is the theme I'm using, and Kyle said not to have too much junk on the page and to use a white background. I just added some screen shots and stuff, but it is the top that people see when they come to the page.. That's why I kinda like a static page better than a brief summary of the articles...I think if I went to static front page it my be more appealing to the reader.

I think there will be no difference using a static page or not when it concerns changing the heading...
I just took a look to the source of the page and I see that maybe an image is possible in the header and also I think that you can change the color...But this has to happen in the CSS file of the theme...
When you go to appearance, - editor - select the style.css file at the bottom...
And then do a search on "main-navigation ul ul"
You will see a color just under that: now it is #FFF which means white.
So when you change that into another hexadecimal color code (you can find that on the internet), I think the header background color will change...
But: I did not test this or anything, so if you want to try this, please create a new test site in Rubix, apply the same theme and perform the test and the same approach for the image, when you look to the style.CSS you will see that they make place for an image....

I know this might sound a little bit too technical and probably it is...
But is always good to check it, so you have an idea of what is behind the website you look to.
And if you want, I will do a small check myself, but then you have to tell me your theme of course...

Grtz,
Bert

Thanks Bert! I will check that out a bit later. If I have a problem with it I'll let you know. The theme name is "Graphy"

Ok, I will wait on your feedback before I do a check myself....

Am I understanding correctly on the keyword tool that when I see an article rank of ten, that would be the highest? And if I find one that shows searches in the hundreds of tho

Hello,

When you find a keyword with an article power 10, that would be super fantastic... I never saw that before...
When you have an article power starting from 8 you are already good (personal opinion).

Yes indeed: the way you analyze the keyword is correct...
Just keep all the numbers a bit lower if possible...
searches 1500 - traffic 620 - 2 of 85 pages would be better....

Grtz,
Bert

Ok, Thanks, Bert!
