My First Blog Post at WA!

Hello WA community!

My name is Bobby. I became a premium member just under 3 weeks ago and since then I've been very hopeful working toward building something I can be proud of. I chose the Online Entrepreneurship Certification path, and am currently on the final lesson of the level 2 training.

The niche I am building my website around is the sport of ninja. I know most people don't know what that means, so really quick, it's an obstacle course based competition that's been growing tremendously as of late. You may be more familiar with one of the television shows: American Ninja Warrior, Australian Ninja Warrior, Ninja Warrior UK, Ninja Warrior Italia, or the original, Sasuke ("Ninja Warrior" from Japan).

I have worked and trained in this sport for about 3 years (almost to the day actually), and what a lot of people outside of the ninja community don't understand just yet is how quickly the sport is transforming from just a reality TV show to a full fledged sport. Ninja Gyms and competitions that are part of an organized league completely separate from any tv show exist and are rapidly becoming more common.

Being that I regularly coach kids classes, adult classes, and host kids Ninja Warrior themed birthday parties, I know there is a huge untapped market for ninja training equipment, party supplies, and the such.

So far I've got 5 keyword rich posts, and even though it's still pretty hard to find my website through any search engine, I'm mainly focused on building traffic right now. Truth be told I may have become over zealous and started an affiliate account at Amazon before I actually got that far in the training. I haphazardly through up a few links just incase I happen to get some visitors while I'm still building up the site.

Within the next month or two I hope to finish building out the initial structure of the website, so that all I really have to focus on is making 2-3 new posts every week. Hopefully by then I'll have a little more traffic to the site, and then I can really focus on the monetization aspect. Once I've got that down, I'd like to start working on a second website.

My mind keeps drifting to other endeavors I plan to have further down the road, but right now I've got my hands full with just the one website, so I'm trying not to bite off more than I can chew.

Ideally, once I've put in the work and enough time has passed, I would love to make this my full time job!
