I need your opinions. should I start a second site?
I've been working on my site for a while now. I finished the affiliate marketing training, and even though my site doesn't get much traffic yet, I'm interested in possibly starting a website following the bootcamp training.
I know at one point when I joined WA I read somewhere that you should choose just one of the paths to follw, but since the platform lets me host up to 25 sites under a private domain, I figure why not? What have I got to lose, right?
As I said, my first site (thesportofninja.com) still doesn't get many hits, but I've gotten it to a point where I'm pretty satisfied with how the site itself looks. All that's left for me to do now is consistently make new posts.
That being said, I'd really like to try my hand at the bootcamp training. Given that I've already got a site that I'm still developing, would it be smarter to just focus on that one first?

Hello and thanks for sharing.
For me, I would suggest doing one site at a time until you see it picking up in traffic.
One site does take up most of my time.
It is all up to how much you can handle doing without stretching yourself too far.
Wishing you all the best and have a great week.
Darren :)
The benefit of focusing on one website at a time is that you can learn a lot, make many of the mistakes and figure them out right there on the first one.
Then when you move on to creating other websites (I definitely think having a portfolio of niche websites is a good thing) everything will be much easier and faster going.
If you are talking about simply promoting WA itself as in just having some fun promoting WA through your affiliate link I don't see any problem with that.
Actually that can be beneficial.
Here's why...
While you are focused on writing and publishing content on your website (because that is what you need to focus on for the next months) you can get experience in affiliate marketing using your WA affiliate link.
And unless you absolutely love spending all of your time writing articles... you will need a break from that. You will NEED to do other things just to keep your mind from burning out.
So... you can test different marketing activities and see which perform better and which you like using better... while promoting your WA affiliate link.
You can even set up a simple one page site to capture leads. That would let you get some experience with building a landing page and building a list.
And all of these things you learn you can then apply to your niche website 3 to 4 months from now when it filled out with a good amount of content and starting to see some steady traffic from search engines.
Just my two cents there. It doesn't need to be a ONE OR THE OTHER ONLY thing. Do it smart and one can benefit the other.
