Made my first sale!

Things have been going kind of slow for me. I joined WA back in October 2018, and at first I was really interested in building my website, but as time went by and life kept happening I slowly lost interest.

Now, almost 6 months later, I've written only 19 posts (only 2 in the last 3 months). Part of my waning interest was due to the fact that I had completed almost all of the training, but was getting hardly any traffic to my site. Nevermind actually making affiliate sales, nobody was even finding my site. Right after writing an article, I would make a social media post, and traffic would spike for a day, and then immediately the next day it was back down.

This last week, I've been putting more effort into optimizing past articles in hopes that more people would be able to find them through google. When I checked my amazon affiliate page, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had made my first sale! The best part was that it wasn't even a bogus sale where somebody clicked on one of my links but then bought something unrelated; They used a link on my article about hand held massage guns and actually purchased a $400 massager, which netted me $18!

I'm happy to say that my motivation is back up! I'm back to the point where all I can think about while I'm at work is getting home to put more work into my site.
