Slow and Steady
So, I've been a member of this amazing community for a little under a week. In this week we have had the 4th of July, I've hosted a vendor booth for one of my businesses, and I haven't been able to dedicate my full attention to my training. Last night I jumped back in and created my first website. I'm still contemplating the angle at which I want to approach this as I have two businesses: 1. Health & Wellness, 2. Beauty Products. I'm not sure if I want to create a mom blog about how these products impact my daily mom life and family or if I want to have a blog for each business. I guess I will be deciding this soon, but for now I am going to jump back into the course. Thank you to everyone who has followed me and been so welcoming and encouraging! You are all truly amazing. I am a busy mom of 5, striving to be the best mom that I can be (on most days) while also living my dream of being a successful business woman. Let’s face it being a stay at home mom is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding jobs out there. We don’t get to punch out on the time clock. This job is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Our little people depend on us and admire us. We are their favorite person, most of the time. While we are busy running around cleaning up after our miniature mess makers, feeding them, and making sure they have everything they need to grow into healthy boys and girls they are watching our every move: How we react when they throw a tantrum or if we notice when they sneak that snack we’ve said would ruin their appetite for dinner.
With being a parent to 5 precious angels comes financial responsibility, but when our caboose was born I knew going back to a 9 to 5 job just wasn’t going to work. I began searching for ways to make money online. Most leads quickly lead me nowhere and were too good to be true, but that didn’t stop me. I knew that there are thousands, if not millions, of people in this world who make money online. If they could do it then so could I. So, here I am. Blogging about my crazy life as a work from home mom. I pray that you find hope here, as I felt hopeless at times trying to find something, anything to help support my family. Seems to me that you are really enjoying every move here. My advice would be, you first stick with one niche website so that you may have enough time with it. Didn't know this when I was a newbie.
Thank you for your advice! I definitely don't want to spread myself too thin. I was thinking of alternating blog posts between the health and wellness products and beauty products on the one blog website.
