Try Google webmaster tools. Search console is still somewhat new. You'll have to register your site with it too. I think there is a training. I'll see if I can find it.

You can do that using Quick Edit. Or you can change the name that shows for Admin. Change Admin to Your Own Name

My website still says howdy admin even though i added my real user and clicked administrator how do i fix it?

You can get this fixed through your WordPress dashboard settings. And if the same persists, do not hesitate to contact the help center.
I will just give you my notes on starting to add yourself as a second user.
Create a new user.
1. Log into WordPress
2. Dashboard, Users, add new.
3. One email per user so if I am admin & user need two emails.
4. Process
• Get page to put information on
• Names Helen
• Kyle doesn’t enter his surname
• Website url
• Role – still admin
• Role for others has limited access
• Add new user
5. Then go to existing pages under admin & make myself the author.
• Edit, get pop-up, change author.
• Go to quick page/post, quick edit, select Helen
• Update’
6. Ditto for posts.
7. Manage via SiteRubix
You need to create a new user, with username and administrator role.
Then you log out.
Then you log in with that new username (administrator role)
Then you go to all users, select the administrator account, select delete, and very important,
"take over all content",
if you don't you lose all content created from that administrator.

There is a plugin you can use called Post Type Switcher. Really easy to use. Use new plugin,Install it and it creates options in your wordpress to choose what you want, post or page. When you are finished, just delete it.
