A Tale of Mother Goose
Something a wee bit different...
I realize that our blogs are properly ought to be about business and WA topics. Sometimes something a wee bit different can add colour to our thoughts. With that being said I came across this rather interesting piece of literary history that I wanted to share with you.
Perhaps you might go on a memory trip, for at least a moment or two.

Did you know that the tales of Mother Goose (1697) were first published in 1697 in Paris, France.
Although, in 1697, they were being presented more like melodies as appose to a reading book.
In an attractive box the book, titled The Volland Edition of Mother Goose, was sent out by P.F.Volland & Co., publishers. The book its self was bound in blue denim; selling for $2.50 with the addition of Canadian prepaid postage of $2.20.
It was being promoted as "the most wonderful edition of the world's most famous juvenile classic". Tooting the artistic works of the famous artist Frederick Richardson. Richardson's designs were a rare adaptation of great art that was brought to the level or the child's world by using simplicity, color
and wholesome imaginative humour.

That is very interesting I didn't realize that the story of Mother Goose was that old. This was a very nice post and very interesting too.
