Not too long ago, 4/10 and 4/16 of 2018, I was accepted into two fairly big independent affiliate programs.

My website was only about 2 weeks old, going on 3, so I'm assuming they noticed the potential, as usually it takes more progress to get accepted into independent programs.

By April 15th, I had already made my first sale. However, nothing to get too excited about, as I kind of cheated to do it. I don't necessarily see it as cheating, more so, experimenting, but I did, in fact, jump ahead, and spent very little Google Adwords advertising.

I won't go into how much I spent, $40, :D but I used the $50 sign-up bonus I got when I was accepted into the program, so I guess you can say I didn't lose anything right?

Not putting the $50 dollars into play, I made $21 dollars off the sale, so I made a little over half of what I spent on advertising.

Although I did not profit off the advertising, I do believe it was a plus to make my first sale, as it was more of a test run. I wasn't even expecting to make a sale at all, as a matter of fact. I was just trying out keywords/negative keywords that would help me get going in the right direction.

Anyways, my website is still very young, 3 weeks going on 4, and I will not be spending anymore on advertising until I feel that my sight is ready, or at all for that matter.

For now, I will continue with what I've got, and I like where this is going so far.
