4 Reasons I'm Thankful for My First Full Year of Premium Membership

A year ago today, I became a premium member here at Wealthy Affiliate, and I can honestly say it's been one of the better investments I've made in my online business.

I point others here all the time in a couple of my email courses, in the sidebar of my website, and even in personal conversations over coffee with aspiring bloggers and online marketers.

If you're wondering what the big deal is, here are the four big reasons I'm thankful I decided to invest in premium membership and have no plans of canceling anytime soon.

1. A goldmine of education in online marketing.

From the basics of establishing your website to search engine optimization to email marketing, Kyle, Carson, Jay and so many others provide fantastic training. And they're constantly improving it.

Some of the SEO and traffic hacks I picked up here have directly resulted in enough passive income from affiliate sales to pay for my membership a dozen times over. And I like putting my money into things that give it back with a return.

2. The web hosting is fast, easy, and feature-rich.

When I have an idea for a website, I can register a domain and launch the site here within minutes, get it indexed by Google, and then tweak as I go. I'm a big believer that in most cases (not all, but most), we need to launch as early as possible and improve afterward.

The installer, the space, the security features, and the comment exchange feature are all bonuses you don't find in one package anywhere else.

3. The community is an amazing group of friendly, eager people.

Every single time I've needed help, I've gotten my questions answered quickly. There is never a lack for interaction and affirmation. This is a great spot to bounce ideas off of others, ask for tips and advice, and to offer expertise as a value add to new friends.

4. The referral program is top notch.

I love that the affiliate program for Wealthy Affiliate offers so many options. It's possible to share almost any single page, blog post, or training module using an affiliate link, in addition to creating special landing pages.

One of my more successful sources of referrals has been a 21-day email course that teaches people how to start earning an income with blogging. I have my optin page redirect them to a thank you page using one of the Wealthy Affiliate landing pages.

Again, it's earned far more than I've spent as a premium member. Totally worth it!
