Gutenberg good or bad?

I was looking at installing Gutenberg but after viewing the ratings and comments in WordPress, I am now reluctant to install Gutenberg.
As you can see from the above image the ratings in Gutenberg are pretty alarming. Out of 1,068 reviews more than half rate Gutenberg at only 1 star.
You are always going to have the haters and negative ones and I am always expecting negative ratings for any program but, 612 x 1 star reviews seems to suggest to me that there maybe something wrong.
I remember my father saying to me when I got my first full time job at 17. He said "son if someone comes up to you on the job and criticises another person, take it with a grain of salt, BUT, if 3 or 4 or more people come up to you and say something bad against that particular individual then keep it in the back of your mind and be wary of that person". So 612 bad reviews is now in the back of my mind so I am wary.
