Well, everyone, here I am…patting myself on the back for making it this far in my backyard gardening niche at http://perfect-vegetable-garden.com.

At this point, I have produced a handful of web pages and posts…and responded to comments made by WA members on my website. I’m still waiting to get “outside” visitors and comments. But, I’m certain that will come eventually.

I’ve also overcome a few issues in Wordpress such as: 1) being able to create different banner pictures for each page using another Wordpress plugin (This solution was suggested by a fellow WA member.), and 2) getting rid of ADMIN replies in comments and changing them to my author’s name, Jim (This solution was also suggested by a WA member.).

So…WOW…this community has been really helpful. There is always someone who has traveled the road before and, helping each other sure does shorten the head-scratching time trying to figure out issues with getting a successful website up and running…and paying for itself!

I have big plans for adding a lot more information in the form of web pages and posts in the next 3 months. By the end of that time, I would like to see Google listings on the first or second page for some of my “low hanging fruit” (And, I am hoping maybe first/second Google listings for some high hanging fruit, too) keywords in my pages and posts. And, I would like to see Google Analytics show a much larger number of visitors to my website, reading and making comments from outside of WA, that can justify the next big step…adding affiliate marketing clients.

Hopefully, the following 3 months will see me adding affiliate links to my website and, at least, by the end of the first 6 months, I will start seeing some return on investment. That is the ultimate goal and then I can improve continue to improve the readership on my website and, in turn, the ROI that the website produces.

Happily moving…always forward…never quitting.
