Six Reasons Why You Need A Backlink Checker
I Just received an email message about having your backlinks checked. Not sure exactly what the deal is but maybe this can benefit some folks. Below is a list of the six reason for having a backlink Checker sent to me by email.
- You've been wasting money on backlinks that do not show up or drop out without your knowledge.
- You should be able to identify links from non-related or irrelevant websites that are affecting your reputation.
- You don't know if your backlinks are nofollow or dofollow, which could be a disadvantage to your site's ranking.
- You should keep track of which low-quality and spammy links to disavow to avoid link-based penalties.
- You should identify the negative SEO attacks that your competitors may be using on you.
- You should know which backlinks are more authoritative and should be prioritized first.
Hope this is helpful to "All" .

The free version of ahrefs is pretty good for your site's backlinks.

John
Some years I've been good about checking my backlinks and some years it has dropped down on my priorities.
Still debating, this is new info to me. Didn't know if it was a mandatory thing. Well, guess that is why I'm still bootcamp, Ha, Ha, Ha, still in training mode. Don't look like it will end no time soon.
Undecided here, however there's few free ones and others as extensions.
