Yes, Jesus was the first Network Marketer and Lead Generator in biblical times. I often say to myself “WOW” how did I missed this. I ‘am struggling and wondering what the secret is along with what in creation am I missing here? He recruited 12 men whom he appointed as Disciples and later made them apostles. What am I doing wrong along with how Jesus handles Hecklers, Haters and Naysayers in his day.

He pretty much had the same issues that current marketers are having at the present time. Mental and physical abuse, “man” Jesus was tough and on top of his game. Let’s find some quotes from the scriptures to get some clarity on what approach method our lord and savior used. “Hey” in case you were wondering about the physical abuse part. I got yelled at and even got chased off by dogs (LOL!!!).

In (Luke 6:12) in the day of Jesus, he would go out to the mountains and pray. Yes, to the father and to have focus. In one setting, it tells of Jesus taking a walk beside the Sea of Galilee. While taking this walk he sees two brothers. The names of these brothers were Peter and Andrew. They were fishermen. While casting a net into the lake, Jesus approaches the two brothers, he asked them to “come, follow me” and I will make you fishers of men.

In that moment without question both brothers left their nets and followed him. Wow, how did he do that? The key here is to work with the willing and not with naysayers and verbal bullies. In (Mark 3:13) called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him. The Twelve apostles were the willing souls to follow Jesus (Luke 9:1, 7, 9). Jesus led by example, he attract a large crowd where ever he went.

Jesus attracted serious minded people who were willing to work with him. Hagglers, Dabblers, naysayers and haters just weren’t the willing souls needed for the biblical task. Jesus also knows the hearts and thoughts of those that will follow him. He also put these guys through some intense training which is why they followed him from place to place. They heard him speak so to learn how a sermon is given.

They also witness him healing the sick, feeding the hungry and finally witness the expulsion of demonic spirits from the possessed. They had to learn to do these things, also to be strong mentally and physically to handle what was to come next. Later they would teach and train their followers. Like Jesus, their lives were taken as well. The teachings continue on up to the present day. The Trifling leaders of his day, Pilot and Herod were the haters of Jesus (Luke 23:1, 9, 11).

They would question him just for the sake of entertaining themselves, also to undermine his efforts. Not serious or caring about what he was trying to achieve. They wanted him to perform miracles just to mock him. He held his focus and said nothing. He is remembered for his Godly leadership. Let’s lead like Jesus. “Amen” !
