Back on January 1, 2026, to start the New Year I posted a blog called, Start 2026 With A Fun Test - How Smart Are You? In it I presented you with 3 brain teaser meme puzzles for you to figure out.

Many of you enjoyed them so I decided I will do this again. Actually I am going to post a blog like this on the first of every month in 2026, as a form of fun entertainment to stretch your brain power.

Our brain is a VITAL part of our body. A person can be kept alive if their heart stops and brought back, but when the brain stops it is lights out. No chance of regaining normalcy. Exercising the brain is important!

LIKE LAST TIME

I will wait for 24 to 36 hours before responding to your answers to give enough people time to think and reply with their answers. I enjoy doing these puzzles and once I know the answers, I like sharing them.

Just like last time I will post three different meme puzzles numbered #1, #2 & #3. In the comments you will write your answers like #1 = ???, #2 = ???, #3 = ??? OK, ARE YOU READY? We will start with an easy one.

#1 Difficulty = EASY

#2 Difficulty = MEDIUM

#3 Difficulty = HARD

Comment below your answers like the following: #1 = ??, #2 = ???, #3 = ?

EXERCISE YOUR BRAIN, HAVE FUN & GOOD LUCK!

After looking at you replies. You say the answer is 995.

Your original numbers "358" seem to be constructed with matchsticks. Something I missed before. With 2 moves I can get 998.

Please explain this one. I read your explanation to Peter, but I don't get it at 6:50 am.

A 9 and a 6 both require six sticks each. Here are two screen shots from two other puzzles I have done...but never got correct, which is why I haven't posted them here.

2

Thanks, Rob.

I still didn't get it. So, I took it to ChatGPT and now I do.

Come on Robert. My suspenders are killing me. I mean the suspension is killing me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

3

Okay. 🀣 #2 should be 995.

3

How?????

4

You can get 998 with two moves

3

A 9 is the reverse of a 6. Both a 6 and a 9 have six sticks .

3

Peter, Rob's answer is wrong 358, becomes 1359 by removing 2 sticks from the 8. Check it yourself
Just saying ^_^ Cheers

2

That's true. Not sure now what is right

2

JD says I'm wrong, but I did exactly what his instructions said.

He asked for the highest number available by moving 2 sticks from 358.
I did exactly what JD said. I took 2 sticks from the 8 turning it into a 9, and then took the said 2 sticks and put them in front of the 3, making the number 1359.
Just saying ^_^ Cheers

1

No, because with that puzzle system the 9 needs a bar across at the bottom. But I think it could become 1353

1

still πŸ™ƒπŸ€”πŸ€ͺ

2

I might need an AI to explain as well... But I am pretty sure you can't take two sticks in one move and then two sticks again in a second move.

1

No, try this, draw an 8, in matchstick you need 7 matchsticks, for a 9 you only need 5, leaving 2 free. Try it you can get 1359

1

I answered Isabella, check it out.

1

You don't need to do all of that.

1

But with Robert's system the 9 needs a 'bar' or 'umbrella handle' across the bottom, that's why it doesn't let it count. Depends on the 'rules' of the game. I'm not going to argue...

1

No look at the image again in the original brain teaser, they are matchsticks. Accountants pay attention to details.
Just saying ^_^ Cheers

#3 = Correct (They are hospital room numbers)

2

Love this! 🧠 Excited to try the puzzles.
#1 = 30
#2 = 890
#3 = 75 (1933 & 1946 are room numbers, not years)
Can’t wait to see the answers and how everyone else did! πŸ˜„

#1 = Correct
#2 = Wrong
#3 = Correct (They are hospital room numbers)

2

2

#1 = Correct
#2 = Wrong
#3 = Correct (They are hospital room numbers)

2

Rob your answer is wrong 358, becomes 1359 by removing 2 sticks from the 8. Check it yourself. You asked for the highest number by moving 2 sticks. I did exactly that,
Just saying ^_^ Cheers

Rats, so I didn't get the room type right, shucks.
Anyway good brain teaser, had fun ^_^ Cheers
